Hygiene Supervisor

Description

Apt Resources is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented hygiene supervisor to join the team at a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. The hygiene supervisor will be responsible for overseeing cleaning and sanitation operations within the hotel premises to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across all hotel areas including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchens, and back-of-house areas.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor hygiene protocols and cleaning schedules in compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping and hygiene staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure cleanliness, identify areas for improvement, and address any hygiene-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain inventory and stock control of cleaning supplies and equipment, managing procurement requests as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with other hotel departments to provide seamless service and maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and staff.
  • Handle guest feedback concerning cleanliness and hygiene matters, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with local health regulations, safety standards, and hotel policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a hygiene supervisor or similar role in a 5-star luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, cleaning techniques, and health and safety regulations.
  • Leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards consistently.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays as per hotel requirements.
  • Relevant certification in hygiene or housekeeping is a plus.
  • Must be currently in UAE.
