Instrumentation, Control & Electrical Technician (Based in Jurong Island)

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

  • Responsible for the scheduled & corrective maintenance of instrumentation & control system and equipment

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performing scheduled maintenance (Preventive/Predictive Maintenance) programs and corrective maintenance (CM) of all the analyzer and instruments in the plant and prepare reports
  • Preparation of MSRA for all maintenance works to be carried out
  • Calibrating analyzer, instruments, components, CEMS and systems.
  • Installing, configuring, calibrating and maintaining control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog & digital).
  • Installing and terminating pneumatic and fluid connections.
  • Inspecting and testing the operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults
  • Removing, repairing, adjusting and replacing components of control valve & actuators, positioner, transmitters and switches
  • Maintaining backup and revision documentation for control systems and instrumentation.
  • Coordination with 3rd party vendors for maintenance work and spare parts ordering
  • Raising and closing permits in CMMS/ SAP system for maintenance work
  • Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Instrumentation or equivalent Engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in controls and instrumentation
  • Knowledgeable and experience in PLC and DCS systems
  • Experience working in the Incineration plant / process Power plant industry is an advantage
