Islamic Finance Manager – Islamic Banking

Axiom is looking for an experienced Islamic Finance Manager to take on a key financial role within a fast-growing, digital-first bank. Reporting to senior leadership, this high-profile position will support financial integrity, regulatory reporting, liquidity, and the effective management of Islamic banking activities. What You’ll Be Responsible For - Serve as the lead finance authority for the Islamic Window , reporting directly to the CFO. - Own financial statements, management reporting, regulatory submissions, and audit readiness. - Ensure clear financial segregation between Islamic and conventional banking activities. - Partner with Treasury and Risk on funding, liquidity planning, and regulatory metrics. - Oversee profit allocation, investment pool performance, and Shari’ah-related financial treatments. - Advise senior leadership, the Board, and governance committees while shaping a growing Islamic banking proposition. What We’re Looking For - 7–10 years ’ finance experience, including 4–5 years in Islamic banking or Islamic Window operations. - Strong expertise in Islamic finance products, Shari’ah governance, and financial segregation. - Proven experience in financial statements, management reporting, and regulatory returns. - Solid knowledge of IFRS, relevant AAOIFI standards, and CBUAE requirements. - Experience with investment pools, profit distribution, liquidity, and Islamic asset-liability management. - Relevant bachelor’s degree required; CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA, or an Islamic finance qualification is highly valued.
