Junior Education Consultant Internship

We are hiring a Junior Education Consultant Intern for an unpaid internship opportunity within our student admissions and counselling team. This role is suitable for someone who is interested in international education, student guidance, university applications, and documentation support.

The selected candidate will receive proper training on study abroad counselling, university research, student profile assessment, application preparation, and document handling. This internship is designed as a practical learning opportunity and can lead to a full-time role depending on performance, commitment, and overall suitability.

Role Responsibilities

  • Speak with students and parents in a professional and helpful manner through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and meetings.
  • Collect and understand student details, including academic background, preferred country, course interests, budget, English language level, and career plans.
  • Research suitable universities and courses based on the student’s profile and requirements.
  • Prepare clear university shortlists with details such as entry requirements, tuition fees, deadlines, intake options, and application criteria.
  • Assist in creating and improving student CVs, resumes, Statements of Purpose, Letters of Motivation, and other application-related documents.
  • Help ensure that student documents are properly formatted, complete, and ready for submission.
  • Support the senior consultant in preparing application forms and checking university requirements.
  • Maintain student trackers, document checklists, application status updates, and follow-up records.
  • Coordinate with students to collect pending documents and remind them of deadlines.
  • Draft professional emails for students, universities, and internal updates.
  • Use Canva to prepare simple student materials, flyers, social media creatives, presentations, and university comparison formats.
  • Support with basic content writing related to study abroad updates, university information, admission tips, and student guidance.
  • Learn about different study destinations, admission processes, visa documentation, and university application systems.
Skills Required
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Good writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to research information accurately and present it clearly.
  • Basic knowledge of Canva.
  • Ability to work on CVs, resumes, SOPs, and student profiles.
  • Good attention to detail and document-checking skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, email, and online research tools.
  • Organized, responsible, and able to follow deadlines.
  • Willing to learn and take feedback.
  • Professional attitude when dealing with students and parents.
Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree completed.
  • Interest in education consulting, admissions, student counselling, or international education.
  • Previous experience in administration, content writing, student support, or customer communication will be an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of study abroad processes is preferred, but not required, as training will be provided.
