Junior Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities
- User management, including onboarding, offboarding, and access management
- Provisioning new hosts and maintaining existing production servers across bare metal, public cloud, and private cloud environments
- Managing DNS records, domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and decommissioning
- Performing security-related tasks, including firewall configuration and regular operating system updates
- Monitoring infrastructure, responding to alerts and incidents
- Handling requests through the Jira ticketing system
- Creating new services and integrating them into the existing infrastructure
- Developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate routine administration tasks
- Writing and maintaining clear documentation for services, tasks, and procedures
Requirements
- Good working knowledge of RHEL-based operating systems (CentOS, AlmaLinux)
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
- Experience with bare metal servers, virtual machines, and containers
- Basic understanding of infrastructure and service monitoring
- Familiarity with Ansible or other configuration management tools
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with Bash or Python
- Experience with GitLab CI or Jenkins
- Familiarity with Git
- Familiarity with FreeIPA, LDAP, or Google Workspace administration
