Job Description

TechCare Trading & Services is looking for an experienced Laptop / Computer Technician for a temporary one-month position to cover our existing technician during his vacation.

The successful candidate should be able to independently diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade laptops, desktop computers, gaming PCs, MacBooks, iPhones, and PlayStation consoles.

Key Responsibilities

MacBook / Apple

  • MacBook display/LCD removal and replacement
  • Screen, battery, keyboard, and trackpad replacement
  • Logic board / motherboard repair
  • Water damage diagnosis and repair
  • macOS installation and upgrades

Windows Laptops

  • Screen, battery, keyboard, and hinge replacement
  • Charging port and motherboard repair
  • Windows installation
  • BIOS updates
  • Software and driver installation
  • Virus removal
  • SSD and RAM upgrades
  • Performance optimization

Desktop & Gaming PCs

  • Desktop computer repair and troubleshooting
  • Gaming PC repair and upgrades
  • Custom PC assembly
  • Motherboard and power supply repair
  • GPU, RAM, SSD/HDD upgrades
  • Windows and software installation

iPhone Repairs

  • iPhone screen replacement
  • Battery replacement
  • Charging port repair
  • Hardware diagnosis and other common repairs

PS4 / PS5 Repairs

  • HDMI port repair
  • Power issue diagnosis and repair
  • Disc drive repair
  • Software issues
  • Network / Wi-Fi troubleshooting
  • Overheating diagnosis

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Laptop / Computer Technician
  • Strong hands-on experience with MacBook and Windows laptop repairs
  • Experience in gaming PC repair, assembly, and upgrades
  • Experience with iPhone and PlayStation repairs
  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Available for the full one-month temporary assignment

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a computer/electronics repair shop or service center
  • Experience handling MacBook display removal and replacement
  • Experience with motherboard-level troubleshooting and repair

Important: This is a temporary 1-month position to cover our existing technician during his vacation. The selected candidate must be capable of handling the above repair work independently.
