The successful candidate will provide research and reference support and assist with developing online library resources.</p> <hr> <h3>Mandatory Requirements</h3> <p><strong>Education</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Master of Library or Information Science from an <strong>ALA-accredited program</strong></p> </ul> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum <strong>6 months of experience within the last 24 months</strong> in one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Reference and research services in an <strong>academic library</strong></p> <li> <p>Creating online tools such as <strong>LibGuides</strong></p> <li> <p>Instruction and promotion of library resources using <strong>online or multimedia tools</strong></p> <li> <p>Development or maintenance of <strong>library websites or SharePoint sites</strong></p> <li> <p>Design and delivery of <strong>library workshops</strong></p> </ul> </ul> <hr> <h3>Desirable Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to work professionally in <strong>French</strong></p> </ul> <hr> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Provide <strong>reference and research services</strong> to graduate students focused on <strong>strategic and national security studies</strong></p> <li> <p>Develop and document <strong>instructional materials and online information guides</strong></p> <li> <p>Support access to library resources using <strong>web-based tools</strong></p> <li> <p>Work with a team of librarians to <strong>redesign and develop library websites, SharePoint sites, and LibGuides</strong></p> </ul> <p>If you're a dedicated and qualified Library Technician looking to make an impact, we encourage you to submit your resume by the deadline.
