Logistics Coordinator
Job Type: Full-time | Location: Dubai, UAE | Work Location: Silicon Oasis Office | Salary: AED 6,000 (Dependent on experience) | Experience Level: Mid-level (2–4 years in UAE logistics) | Job Summary | We are looking for a detailed and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage our end-to-end supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our cargo- from issuing Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers, booking inbound collection and delivery to our warehouse, and coordinating outbound dispatch and loading directly to our customers. | Key Responsibilities: | -Inbound Management (Supplier to Warehouse): | -Release POs and liaise with global/local suppliers to confirm cargo readiness. | -Arrange freight bookings (Ocean or Road) and schedule driver pickups. | -Track inbound shipments and ensure smooth clearance and timely delivery to the warehouse. | Warehouse & Inventory Support: | -Coordinate dock space, unloading slots, and gate passes with third-party logistics (3PL) or warehouse facilities. | -Verify receiving documents, packing lists, and delivery notes against POs. | Outbound Operations (Warehouse to Customer): | -Receive customer sales orders and plan outbound transport schedules. | -Issue Letters of Authorization (LOAs), driver PIN codes, and loading instructions to carriers and warehouse staff. | -Coordinate loading with the customer’s receiving team, providing tracking updates until final receipt. | Documentation & Compliance: | -Handle shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, COO, LOAs, and Delivery Orders. | -Maintain precise records of shipment statuses and update internal systems weekly/daily. | Requirements & Qualifications: | Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing international freight forwarding, cross-trade, and global shipping operations. | International Freight & Customs Knowledge: | -Solid understanding of international shipping regulations, Incoterms (EXW, FCA, FOB, DAP), and global ocean/road freight documentation (Bills of Lading, LOAs, Customs Clearances). | -Hands-on experience dealing with overseas warehouses, European transport networks, Panama port operations and USA port operations. | Skills: | -Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, XLOOKUPs) and Xero software. | -Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. | -Strong problem-solving skills to manage transport delays, customs holds, or documentation mismatches. | Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. | Benefits & Perks: | -Competitive Salary & Performance Review: Attractive tax-free salary with a Yearly Appraisal to recognize and reward performance. | -Work-Life Balance: Standard Saturday and Sunday OFF (5-day work week). | -Annual Flight Support: Yearly Ticket Allowance provided for home country travel. | -UAE Visa & Sponsorship: Full UAE Employment Visa and work permit provided in accordance with UAE Labor Law. | -Health Coverage: Comprehensive Medical/Health Insurance provided. | -End-of-Service Gratuity: Gratuity pay provided upon completion of service per UAE Labor Law guidelines. | -Professional Growth: Hands-on exposure to high-volume global trade lanes across the US, Europe, and Latin America.
