Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our remote team. This role is perfect for a professional with a strong command of the English language, ready to manage complex logistics operations from anywhere. You will be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods globally. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and packing lists.
- Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders and maintaining accurate records in our logistics systems.
- Optimize transport routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions.
- Manage customer inquiries and provide exceptional service regarding shipment status and logistics solutions.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (written and verbal communication).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of international shipping procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with remote teams and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with specific freight management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Logistics).
- Knowledge of an additional European language (e.g., German, French, Spanish).
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS CSCP, ISM CPSM).
