Business Application and Data Analytics Manager We are currently seeking aBusiness Application and Data Analytics Manager in Dubai, UAE to lead our Business Application team to support our state-of-the-art Manufacturing Operations systems and contribute to our Digital Transformation and automation journey. Provide IT technical and functional expertise in the design, planning, testing and implementation of high quality local and global IT systems solutions and business applications. Take responsibility for supporting and developing manufacturing applications in a fast-paced and expanding production environment. Support the strategic Digital Transformation and Intelligent Automation direction for future Business Systems initiatives. In this role, the Business Application Leader will be responsible for all the business applications continuity for Measurement Solutions MEA. The person will oversee implementing the proper strategy to sustain and enhance all the business ecosystem to allow operations continuity. They will also be leading the data insights and analytics efforts to drive strategic planning and support the MEA Operations key initiatives. The person will also oversee the MEA innovation and continuous improvement program. The person will manage a team of software engineers. Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Business Application Collaborate with business partners and customers to identify future business needs and prioritize initiatives/resources/effort on evolving IT Strategy accordingly. Perform ongoing support of implemented systems, including training new users, keeping documentation updated, troubleshooting issues, and regression testing. Develop new and maintain existing Business Applications following Emerson IT standard. Support Global Manufacturing System (GMS) software. Perform Monthly GMS updates at both the MEA sites. Create functional and design specifications for application software in cooperation with internal customers. Prepare proper documentation of application software. Provide business analysis support to MEA factories and business system testing, system improvements and documentations. Maintain MEA Server infrastructure. Perform SQL Server upgrades and other maintenance activity. Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor. Collaborate with multifaceted team located in different world areas. Actively participate in automation projects and continue to drive the automation culture within Operation team. Handle daily business application and BI support tickets. Maintain software solutions related to manufacturing and the interfaces between the applications, the ERP system and other manufacturing software. Maintain the existing Business Application and Operation SharePoint site. Perform analysis on business systems, data, and technical issues. Automation and Data Analyst Maintain existing Business Intelligence reports hosted on Power BI cloud platform. Handle daily business intelligence support requests and ensures the SLAs are met. Support ongoing Digital Transformation initiatives. Maintain the existing MEA data mart to collate and integrate current/historical data from various sources/systems within organization. Gather data and conduct analysis in support of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and support in establishing KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions. Create reports and dashboards for internal teams; Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings. Lead the Business with Intelligent Automation and Innovation initiatives as prioritized in the quarterly review. Master Data Management Maintain Purchasing procedures related to Parts setup. Ensure accountability for accurate, complete, and timely Item Setup and maintenance of Items as per the defined KPIs. Identify opportunities and drive for improvements of parts setup processes Collaborate with internal stakeholders. Use existing automation technologies to further improve the Part Setup Process. Collaborate with Global MDM team to ensure right standards are in place. What do I need to be considered for this role?
