MDM Analyst

Our MDM Analyst is responsible for item-related master data in the ERP System. Analyst is also responsible for ensuring the data is timely and accurate in a manner that supports the business requirements. Analyst will be working as a key member of the MDM team with the key objective of providing accurate, complete and harmonized data for the group.Key Responsibilities:Champion item-related Master Data Management practices across the group adhering the principles of MDM.Analyze the input and integrity of the items Master Data in the ERP System to ensure that the data is timely and accurate in a manner that supports.Coordinate across the business on all the ITEM master related requirements.Validate the ITEM master template and ensure the right data is going in the system.Balance local business needs with global views for ITEM master.Analyze all the changes of ITEM master data in the group according to the business policies and governance process and propose recommendationsAnalyze and recommend on all change requests to the MDM ITEM data models and processes.Follow all relevant master data policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Develop consistent and reliable data exchange process with strategic suppliers, either through business unit or directly and maintain the quality of the relationship to ensure the timely receipt of the information.Follow the day-to-day activities related to own job with minimal supervision to ensure continuity of work.Follow-up on escalated cases /issues/questions of team members to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner.Execute timely entry of master data for new products and those resulting from new business acquisition integration.Identify improvement opportunities on the current ITEM master MDM governance processes.Maintain clear documentation on item creation/maintenance processes as well as list of all assignees across business and direct contact with strategic suppliers.Identify opportunities to maximize the relevant applications and data services tools to further cleanse and manage data within the business.Ensure ITEM data cleansing and migration activities are happening along with data migration analysis for new ERP locations and acquisitions with the MDM team in the respective regions/divisions.Participate in relevant projects and community activities as and when needed.Your Profile:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent.4 years of relevant experience in luxury or fashion retail.Proficiency in Excel, ERP - preferably MS Dynamics, Power BI and Qlik.Prior experience in item creation.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with excellent communication skills.
