<strong>Position: Mechanical Design Engineer – Ahmedabad (CE56SF RM 4182)<br><br></strong><strong>Shift timing : 9 to 6 pm<br><br>Work Mode : Hybrid<br><br>Relevant Experience required : 5 to 6 years of experience in electromechanical & NPD<br><br>Education Required : Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering<br><br></strong><strong>Must Have Skills<br><br></strong>Creo, Engineering fundamental, Sheet metal knowledge, Plastic knowledge, Electromechanical domain, Prototype manufacturing (3D printing, VC, CNC & tooling), NPD, Structural and Thermal Simulation<br><br><strong>Good To Have Skills<br><br></strong>Windchill, Solidworks, Excellent verbal & communication skills<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead mechanical design activities for new product development from concept to production.</li><li>Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using Creo.</li><li>Develop electromechanical products considering functionality, manufacturability, cost, and reliability.</li><li>Design and integrate plastic, sheet metal, casting, and machined components.</li><li>Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and engineering evaluations.</li><li>Support basic simulation activities such as structural, thermal, and vibration analysis.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, firmware, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality.</li><li>Conduct design reviews, prototype evaluations, and validation testing.</li><li>Resolve design issues during prototyping, testing, and production stages.</li><li>Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, and release packages.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Strong proficiency in Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and assembly design.</li><li>Good understanding of New Product Development (NPD) processes.</li><li>Knowledge of plastic part design, injection molding, DFM/DFA principles.</li><li>Experience in sheet metal and casting component design.</li><li>Understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis.</li><li>Basic knowledge of simulation tools (structural, thermal, and flow analysis).</li><li>Experience in electromechanical product development and enclosure design.</li><li>Familiarity with prototype development and product validation activities.</li><li>Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.</li></ul><li></li>
