Mid-Level Supervisor, Marine Operations - On-site in Abu Dhabi

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Supervisor, Marine Operations to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves overseeing the maintenance and operations of our tanker terminal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine studies and relevant certifications. You will work on-site and ensure that all operations meet safety and quality standards. This position does not offer remote work options.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our operations. You will also be responsible for training new personnel and ensuring compliance with international marine rules. Responsibilities

  • Plan and supervise preventive maintenance of the tanker terminal.
  • Ensure safety and integrity of operations according to approved standards.
  • Review daily performance reports and suggest corrective actions.
  • Supervise the preventive maintenance schedule effectively.
  • Monitor spare parts for the tanker berth and issue requisitions.
  • Lead the execution of hoses replacement campaigns.
  • Oversee the diving team and support vessel operations.
  • Engage with team members to resolve conflicts and improve teamwork.
  • Participate in developing scopes of work and technical specifications.
  • Provide training and development for new personnel.
  • Conduct toolbox talks before work begins.
  • Implement HSE policies and objectives consistently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Certification or Maritime Studies.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the marine industry.
  • Knowledge of international marine rules such as STCW and ISM.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software.
