Company Overview We are hiring for a financial services company providing solutions across international payments, digital assets, cryptocurrency services, and trade finance. The business supports private and corporate clients with cross-border financial transactions, digital asset services, and tailored financial solutions. Operating with a lean and hands-on team, the environment requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and close coordination across operations, compliance, finance, and client service. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operational activities of the business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working within a lean environment and taking responsibility across multiple operational areas. The Operations Manager will coordinate client transactions, payments, documentation, onboarding, internal processes, and operational communication with external partners. The role requires strong attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to work closely with Finance, Compliance, management, clients, and external service providers to ensure transactions and operational activities are completed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities - Manage the day-to-day operational activities of the business and ensure smooth execution of client and internal workflows. - Coordinate payment instructions, transactions, settlements, transfers, and related operational documentation. - Oversee client onboarding processes and ensure all required documentation and operational requirements are completed. - Work closely with Compliance on KYC, AML, client documentation, transaction requirements, and internal approvals. - Coordinate with Finance on reconciliations, transaction records, payment confirmations, fees, and operational reporting. - Liaise with payment providers, financial institutions, digital asset platforms, custodians, and other external partners. - Monitor pending transactions, client requests, operational issues, and exceptions through to completion. - Maintain accurate client files, transaction records, agreements, correspondence, and operational documentation. - Develop and maintain operational procedures, workflows, checklists, and internal controls. - Identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing processes and implement practical improvements. - Support trade finance, digital asset, payment, and other financial service transactions where required. - Prepare operational reports and provide management with visibility on transactions, outstanding matters, and key operational activities. - Coordinate across functions to ensure client requests are handled efficiently and within agreed timelines. - Support the implementation of new services, platforms, processes, and operational initiatives. - Handle ad hoc operational and administrative requirements as needed within a small and fast-moving team. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. - Proven experience in financial operations, payments, fintech, cryptocurrency, or digital assets. - Hands-on professional experience within the crypto and digital asset sector is required. - Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Senior Operations, Digital Asset Operations, Payments Operations, or similar role. - Strong understanding of cryptocurrency transactions, wallets, digital asset platforms, exchanges, custodians, and settlement processes. - Strong understanding of payments, transaction processing, settlements, reconciliations, and client onboarding. - Good working knowledge of KYC, AML, compliance processes, and financial documentation, particularly within crypto or digital asset environments. - Experience working with payment providers, exchanges, custodians, financial institutions, or other digital asset service providers. - Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. - High attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial and client information. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow operational matters through to resolution. - Comfortable working within a small team and taking ownership beyond a narrowly defined job scope. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting. - Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
