Working within Marriott International 's Law Department, the role will coordinate legal enquiries, prepare and negotiate commercial agreements, manage internal approvals, and support attorneys handling hotel asset transactions. The position requires strong commercial judgment, disciplined project management, and the ability to translate legal requirements into practical operational guidance. The successful candidate will manage competing priorities, work independently when necessary, and maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and responsiveness. Key Responsibilities * Act as a principal contact for hotel managers and operational teams requesting legal assistance. * Coordinate legal matters with Marriott attorneys, business leaders, and internal stakeholders. * Support the day-to-day legal requirements of managed hotels, franchised properties, and above-property functions across EMEA. * Monitor, assess, and respond to legal enquiries submitted through email and dedicated online portals. * Draft, review, negotiate, amend, and finalize vendor agreements. * Review procurement, technology, software, and IT-related contracts. * Prepare and revise sales, marketing, sponsorship, influencer, and partnership agreements. * Support food and beverage, spa, fitness, loyalty, and guest service contracting requirements. * Review group sales, airline, travel agency, and other hospitality-related agreements. * Examine documents prepared by internal teams or third parties for compliance with Marriott 's contractual standards. * Recommend revised language, risk controls, and practical amendments where required. * Prepare internal corporate approvals and coordinate the execution of contracts. * Draft renewal, non-renewal, termination, and contractual notice correspondence. * Assist with amendments to hotel management and franchise agreements. * Support asset management attorneys working on acquisitions, financings, and property dispositions. * Review operational documents connected with leases, licences, concessions, and commercial occupancy arrangements. * Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries with practical recommendations. * Draft legal correspondence, memoranda, internal guidance, and responses to audit enquiries. * Instruct and coordinate external legal counsel on local law, regulatory, or specialist matters. * Monitor external counsel deliverables, timelines, and communication. * Maintain internal legal databases, contract records, and precedent materials. * Update approved templates, guidance documents, and legal workflow resources. * Track legal workstreams, deadlines, approvals, and agreement status across multiple matters. * Organize documents and supporting information for complex transactions and operational projects. * Protect confidential, commercially sensitive, and legally privileged information. * Deliver accurate and timely work aligned with Marriott International 's legal and operational standards. * Communicate clearly with colleagues across different countries, departments, and seniority levels. * Perform additional legal support duties assigned by the Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel.
