Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging IB Business Management lessons in line with current IB Diploma Programme requirements
  • Teach core topics such as business organization, human resources, finance, marketing, and operations management
  • Guide students through Internal Assessment (IA), including research, data analysis, and report writing
  • Develop students’ analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills using real-world business contexts
  • Prepare students effectively for IB examinations and external assessments
  • Provide continuous formative feedback and maintain accurate assessment records
  • Foster inquiry-based learning and encourage independent thinking
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Management, Economics, Business Education, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience
  • Experience teaching IB Business Management is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and IB assessment criteria
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • High level of responsibility and resilience under pressure
  • Proficiency in IT and digital teaching tools
  • Experience with online or blended learning environments
  • Knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Willingness to engage in continuous professional development
