Part-Time Native Chinese Teacher

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Chinese language classes for students of various proficiency levels.
  • Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments tailored to students' learning needs and objectives.
  • Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment conducive to language acquisition.
  • Incorporate cultural insights and real-life contexts into lessons to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to facilitate their language learning journey.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to continuously improve teaching methodologies and curriculum content.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.

Requirements:

  • Native proficiency in Chinese language.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English to effectively communicate with students and colleagues.
  • Prior experience in teaching Chinese as a second language preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for teaching and working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chinese language, education, linguistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Teaching certification or TESOL/TEFL certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate students' schedules.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: AED95.00 - AED100.00 per hour
