We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Group Business Service team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking. In this role, your key responsibilities include: • Manage design, implementation and technical artefacts for technology lifecycles and within ADCB engineering standards and guardrails to ensure successful achievement of implementation plans • Build and implement standard and repeatable design patterns, components and technology solutions in order to deliver on business objectives, customer needs and ensure security, scalability, reliability and performance • Maintain and share current thinking and trends around technology trends and practices, mentoring and coaching engineers to ensure inclusion of best practice and skills modernizatio • Guide, coach and role model a data-driven approach in order to maximise performance, including producing reporting and insights • Oversee coordination with external vendors to ensure services are provided as per agreed Service Level • Agreements (SLAs) and TATs and remediation plans in place for variances beyond tolerance thresholds • Define architecture, integration, deployment, and data flow strategies across platforms. • Lead technical workshops with Business, Operations, Product Owners, Vendors, and Technology teams. • Work closely with solution architects and vendors in order to enhance ADCB capabilities and address technical debt • Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance • Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems Core domain knowledge • Research, evaluate, and implement innovative technology solutions to drive automation, operational efficiency, and enhanced business outcomes across digital platforms and enterprise processes. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing applications leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities across desktop and mobile platforms. • Build and integrate APIs, reusable components, and AI-powered capabilities to enhance customer and business experiences. • Ensure platform reliability, availability, performance, and compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards. • Act as the squad’s technical anchor, driving delivery, resolving technical challenges, and reducing execution bottlenecks. • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application development using React Native. • Proficiency in React hooks and core React principles such as state management, context, and lifecycle methods. • Hands-on experience with GenAI technologies, LLM integrations, Azure OpenAI, AI agents, or related AI frameworks. • Strong experience with modern web technologies, API development, cloud platforms (preferably Azure), and CI/CD practices. • Proven ability to work effectively in Agile teams and manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships. • Proficient in using Jira for project management and Agile Scrum practices. • Support Agile delivery, release management, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. • Coordinate with distributed teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to engineering standards. The ideal candidate should have the following experience • At least 5 years of experience in Technology functions or Digital organisations. • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent, ITIL Foundation certification in IT Service Management, and working knowledge of data network technologies and protocols, along with SAP Success Factors.
