Work Location and Language Requirements

This role is open to candidates in Quebec and Ontario. It's fully remote, with the option to work from any of our offices across both provinces. French is a strong asset, as some of our partners are based in Quebec.

What Success Looks Like

As an Expert-Owner, you've mastered the deep logic of our platform and act as the primary functional and sector expert, designing tailored solutions for our clients. You are the strategic bridge between the complex needs of bank leaders and our internal Technical Product Management teams, ensuring an optimal solution.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead Functional Solution Design: Drive discovery workshops to translate partner business challenges and processes into clear, robust functional solution logic.
  • System Logic Ownership: Act as the master of functional configuration; define the logic and workflows that our Technical Product Managers and engineering teams will execute.
  • Strategic Partner Presence: Act as the functional and technical expert in front of partner financial institution leaders, guiding them toward industry best-practice configurations.
  • Internal Product Partnership: Collaborate closely with internal Product and Engineering teams to influence the core product roadmap by providing expert feedback based on implementation realities.
  • Solution Accountability: Ensure the implemented solution solves the partner's critical problems and generates high adoption through strategic functional design.
  • Change Management Support: Guide the client organization through the transition to ensure their operational processes are optimized for the Nesto Mortgage Cloud.

What You Bring

  • Relevant Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience as an Implementation Manager, Functional Consultant, Solutions-oriented Analyst, or similar role within the financial services or SaaS sector.
  • System Mastery: Demonstrated ability to learn complex software engines and translate that knowledge into business solutions.
  • Technical Comfort: While you do not code, you speak the language of Technical Product Managers and can lead in-depth discussions on system logic.
  • Ownership Mindset: Proven experience leading client implementations where you were the primary person responsible for the functional outcome.
  • Influence and Communication: Strong ability to guide decision-making at the executive level and advocate for product improvements internally.
