Program Manager, Pharmacy Operations

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy program, including enrollment, outreach, and documentation
  • Lead, develop, and support a team of Pharmacy Care Coordinators through coaching and performance management
  • Establish and maintain operational workflows, SOPs, and training materials
  • Monitor program performance against enrollment, productivity, and quality metrics
  • Develop and maintain program dashboards and performance reports for stakeholders
  • Lead implementation activities for new provider practices and market expansions
  • Partner with pharmacy partners and internal stakeholders to resolve operational barriers
  • Serve as the primary operational escalation point for complex patient or pharmacy concerns
  • Conduct quality reviews, call audits, and workflow assessments to ensure compliance
  • Analyze enrollment performance and operational outcomes for process improvement
  • Support staffing planning and resource management
  • Uphold patient privacy and HIPAA standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare operations, pharmacy operations, or patient engagement
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams, programs, or projects
  • Experience leading high-volume patient outreach or enrollment teams
  • Proven ability to develop and monitor operational performance metrics
  • Experience onboarding, coaching, and evaluating team members
  • Experience working within EHR/EMR systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare privacy requirements
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with required internet speeds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing healthcare enrollment or population health programs
  • Experience leading operational transformations or new program deployments
  • Experience supporting medication adherence or pharmacy operations
  • Experience developing operational analytics and dashboards
  • Experience with nephrology or chronic kidney disease populations
  • Experience managing external vendors or strategic partners
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
