The RoleWe are seeking a proactive and organized Project Planning Manager to support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource coordination, and project performance management.

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and other stakeholders to develop practical project plans, monitor timelines, identify potential delays, and support the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate planning activities across project teams and internal departments.
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules, objectives, and key milestones.
  • Identify potential delays, schedule risks, resource constraints, and project dependencies.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to develop realistic project execution plans.
  • Maintain project schedules and planning information using relevant project management tools.
  • Collect progress updates from project teams and consolidate information for management reporting.
  • Track project deliverables, deadlines, dependencies, and outstanding actions.
  • Support resource planning and coordination across project activities.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and other teams to support project requirements.
  • Prepare project planning reports, dashboards, forecasts, and performance updates.
  • Monitor changes to project scope, timelines, resources, and key deliverables.
  • Support project risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution.
  • Assist with project meetings, planning workshops, progress reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project planning processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, action trackers, and planning records.
  • Provide planning insights and recommendations to Project Managers and senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in project planning, project coordination, project management, operations, or a related role.
  • Experience working with project schedules, timelines, milestones, and progress tracking is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Good understanding of project planning and scheduling principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, project management software, and common business tools.
  • Ability to analyze project information and identify potential schedule or resource issues.
  • Good problem-solving and time-management abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating with international teams.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • UAE or GCC project experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Candidates with relevant project coordination, planning, operations, or project management experience are encouraged to apply.
