This role supports the property and real estate division by handling day-to-day accounting activities such as recording transactions, maintaining ledgers for rental and property income, and reconciling accounts.
Responsibilities include managing petty cash related to property operations, assisting with credit control by tracking receivables and following up on outstanding payments, and preparing basic financial reports for management review. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams, property managers, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation, timely invoicing, and compliance with company policies.
The Property Accounts
Assistant is expected to maintain organized records, support month-end closing, and assist in responding to tenant and supplier queries related to accounts.Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including basic bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and familiarity with financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess experience in Credit Control, including monitoring receivables, following up on overdue accounts, and supporting collection processes.
- Candidates should possess the ability to manage Petty Cash, including recording transactions, reconciling balances, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, tenants, and suppliers.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; experience in property or real estate accounting is an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel), strong attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately with numbers.
- Ability to work on-site in the United Arab Emirates, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and uphold confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
