About The Role 


Public Area Attendant is responsible for cleaning, replenishing supplies and maintaining the public areas of the Hotel to the highest standard, adhering to O&O One Za’abeel standards at all times, and ensuring the cleanliness / hygiene is followed consistently. 


Key Duties and Responsibilities 


  • Ensure all defects are reported immediately and follow up to ensure they have been completed. 
  • To assist with preventative maintenance programs for the public areas. 
  • To maintain an adequate par stock of all guest supplies, cleaning supplies and equipment for assigned section. 
  • Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition at all times. 
  • Ensure proper use and care of equipment. 
  • Actively assist with monthly inventories of all chemicals, supplies, and equipment where required. 
  • Report repairs and maintenance items to Team Lader for reporting and following up. 
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness to all assigned work areas ensuring that they have been cleaned to the highest level and standards are being followed. 
  • Ensure the Lost and Found procedure is adhered to at all times. 
  • Maintain hygienic & safe work practices. 
  • Assist in new colleague job skill training as and when requested by the superiors 
  • Ensure that the task provided daily are executed to the expectation of O&O One Zaabeel standard. 
  • Attends and participates in team events. 
  • Participates in required training and briefings related to the job.  
  • To effective communicate and maintain a favorable working relationship with colleagues at all levels. 
  • Assure professional attitude towards guest and colleges at all times. 
  • Ensure to always meet Grooming and Hygiene policy of One&Only One Zaabeel when in uniform. 
  • Assist in other tasks in the department & Hotel when requested by Team Leader or Manager. 

About You


  • Must be of Grade 12 or A level standard educated. (Be Fluent in Spoken & Written English, any other foreign language is a plus factor)  
  • Hospitality graduate an advantage 
  • Must be skilled to perform the job of Public Area Attendant. 
  • Must have minimum 2 years job experience in a five-star Hotel.
