Public Area Cleaner
As a Public Area Cleaner, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness of public areas, following the guidance of Supervisors and adhering to hotel/ restaurant policies and procedures.
Key Job Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain all restaurant public areas before, during, and after operating hours.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish restaurant floors.

Clean entrances, waiting areas, and reception areas.

Sanitize tables, chairs, high chairs, and other guest-contact surfaces as required.

Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly.
-
Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and display areas.
-
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.

Refill cleaning supplies and restroom amenities.

Maintain cleanliness of service stations and beverage stations.

Promptly clean spills to ensure guest safety.

Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.

Assist with deep cleaning schedules and special cleaning tasks.

Ensure the restaurant maintains a clean, welcoming, and hygienic environment throughout service.

Support the restaurant team with cleanliness-related requests during busy periods.

Adhere to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.
