As a QA Engineer / Software Tester / Automation Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications throughout the development lifecycle. You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to design test strategies, execute manual and automated testing, and continuously improve software quality. This part-time, fully remote opportunity offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to work with international technology teams.Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD quality pipelines.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects while working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Validate software releases to ensure functionality, security, usability, and performance meet quality standards.
- Analyze test results, prepare quality reports, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation, quality metrics, and testing procedures.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, testing methodologies, and automation coverage across projects.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance software quality, development efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional work experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance, software testing methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.
- Knowledge of manual testing, automation testing, API testing, regression testing, performance testing, and defect lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar testing frameworks.
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, Postman, Git, SQL, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fully remote working environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and distributed engineering teams.
