Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager
About the roleThe Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager will design, implement and maintain quality assurance frameworks and compliance processes for the University of Manchester – Dubai, ensuring alignment with institutional policies, local regulations and international accreditation standards.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and sustain institutional quality assurance frameworks.Conduct internal audits and monitor compliance with regulatory and academic quality requirements.Review and update policies and procedures, preparing reports for senior leadership and external bodies.Collaborate with academic and professional services teams to identify risks and implement corrective actions.Promote continuous improvement in teaching, learning and student services.Lead training and awareness activities on quality and compliance.Support accreditation and regulatory reviews and ensure timely resolution of quality‑related issues.Required profileStrong quality assurance and quality management experience, including development of institutional quality frameworks.Proven experience in quality control and auditing within an educational or regulated environment.Knowledge of higher‑education regulatory compliance requirements in the UAE and internationally.Excellent analytical, reporting and documentation abilities.Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, influence stakeholders and manage change initiatives.Strong organisational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.Relevant bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree in education, quality management, business or related field is an advantage.Prior experience in higher‑education quality assurance and accreditation.Required skills
