Responsibilities:

  • Rollout and Reframing: Manage the rollout, reframing, swap, modernization, and configuration of Ericsson and Huawei equipment in the Dubai/Northern Emirates region.
  • Integration of Technologies: Handle the integration of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G NR projects.
  • Scope Review and Analysis: Review and analyze the scope of work with end users to ensure proper project implementation.
  • Network Implementation and Optimization: Implement, optimize, and commission outdoor and IBS GSM sites.
  • Script Configuration: Configure scripts for transport network, radio network, feature activation, post scripts, and cell relation scripts including GUTRAN Cell, EUtranCell, GUtranDUcell, Term point to MME script, and sector carrier configuration in Node.
  • BBU Conversion: Expertise in converting BBU from GUL to GULNR BBU5900.
  • 5G Configuration: Configure 5G in both NSA and SA scenarios.
  • Troubleshooting: Address issues related to network utility operations.
  • Field Implementation: Manage all aspects of assigned Task from technical Implementation to final acceptance.
  • Site Management: Oversee new sites, site relocation, site conversion, technology additions, sector additions, sector expansions, link migration, and site reconfiguration as per the given RF plan.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Monitor alarm event logs, error logs, availability logs, system logs, and system downtime.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Nokia/Ericsson/Huawei RAN equipment.
  • Experience: Proven experience in network optimization, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Scripting Skills: Ability to Prepare & configure scripts for various network components.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to liaise with end users and stakeholders.
