We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our dynamic Real Estate team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization by managing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.
  • Conduct monthly and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Generate financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards (UAE GAAP) and relevant tax regulations, including VAT reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing timely documentation and explanations of financial data.
  • Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data and support budgeting and planning initiatives.
  • Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) efficiently to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in financial operations.


Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards (UAE GAAP) and VAT regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
