About the Role

We’re looking for a Philippine-registered nurse with an active USRN license to join our Cebu team as a Medical Virtual Assistant (RN).

This is an opportunity to transition into a healthcare support role with a stable, structured work environment while continuing to use your nursing knowledge and contribute to patient care.

You’ll provide virtual medical and administrative support to a US-based healthcare practice, with responsibilities that may include patient coordination, appointment scheduling, medical documentation, follow-ups, and communication with patients and healthcare teams.

Previous experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant or in a healthcare BPO account is an advantage but not required. We welcome nurses with relevant hospital or clinical experience who are ready to explore a different path within healthcare.

What You'll Do

  • Support patient coordination, appointment scheduling, and follow-up activities.
  • Assist with medical documentation and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Use Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) and other healthcare systems.
  • Apply medical terminology and clinical knowledge appropriately in day-to-day tasks.
  • Handle patient inquiries and route concerns according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with remote healthcare teams to support efficient patient care processes.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy and data protection standards.
  • Perform other healthcare support and administrative tasks as assigned based on client requirements.

Who We're Looking For

  • A Philippine-registered nurse with a valid and active RN license and relevant hospital or clinical nursing experience.
  • A nurse with an active USRN license. A Connecticut RN license is preferred, although candidates with an active USRN license from another state may also be considered.
  • Someone with strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare workflows.
  • A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Someone comfortable working with EMR/EHR systems and other healthcare technology.
  • A detail-oriented, organized, and reliable professional who can follow established protocols and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Someone who demonstrates professionalism and understands the importance of patient confidentiality and data privacy.
  • Previous Medical VA or healthcare BPO experience is an advantage but not required.
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site in Cebu.

Work Setup

  • On-site | I.T. Park, Cebu City
  • Monday to Friday
  • Eastern Time (ET) schedule — exact shift to be confirmed
  • 40 paid hours per week
  • Fixed weekends off

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary: PHP 35,000/month
