Reservation, Ticketing & Holiday Consultant (Arabic Speaking)

We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused, and highly organized Reservation, Ticketing & Holiday Consultant to join our travel agency team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing airline reservations and ticketing services, designing and selling holiday packages, providing exceptional customer support, and ensuring compliance with airline policies and industry regulations while delivering accurate and efficient travel solutions.

Key Responsibilities Flight Reservations & Ticketing

  • Book, issue, reissue, revalidate, void, refund, and cancel domestic and international airline tickets.
  • Handle flight reservations using GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport Galileo .
  • Process ticket exchanges, fare recalculations, refunds, voids, and schedule change procedures.
  • Calculate and quote airfares, taxes, ancillary services, and service fees accurately.
  • Monitor airline schedule changes and proactively inform customers of any updates.
  • Manage individual, corporate, and group travel reservations.
  • Ensure compliance with airline fare rules, baggage policies, ticketing regulations, and IATA standards.
Holiday Packages & Travel Consultation
  • Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, budgets, and expectations.
  • Design and customize domestic and international holiday packages tailored to customer requirements.
  • Create detailed travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, transfers, transportation, sightseeing tours, excursions, cruises, and activities.
  • Recommend destinations based on customer interests, travel trends, seasonal offers, and budget.
  • Provide expert advice on destinations, cultures, customs, weather, attractions, and travel requirements.
  • Sell and promote holiday packages, travel insurance, visa services, tours, transfers, and other travel-related products.
  • Negotiate customized travel arrangements and accommodate special customer requests whenever possible.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, airlines, DMCs, tour operators, and travel suppliers.
  • Research new destinations, tourism products, and industry trends to enhance travel offerings.
Customer Service
  • Assist customers via phone, email, WhatsApp, and walk-in inquiries.
  • Recommend the most suitable travel solutions based on customer preferences, schedules, and budgets.
  • Handle booking amendments, cancellations, complaints, refunds, and travel disruptions efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up with customers before and after travel to ensure a seamless travel experience.
Travel Documentation & Compliance
  • Verify passport validity, visa requirements, transit regulations, and travel restrictions.
  • Advise customers regarding airline check-in procedures, baggage allowances, and required travel documentation.
  • Ensure all reservations comply with airline regulations, immigration requirements, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate booking records and customer documentation.
Administration & Coordination
  • Prepare daily reservation, ticketing, and sales reports.
  • Reconcile issued tickets, refunds, and financial transactions.
  • Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, GSAs, DMCs, hotels, and suppliers regarding reservations, ticketing, refunds, and schedule changes.
  • Stay updated on airline promotions, fare changes, destination updates, and industry developments.
  • Support the sales team with competitive airfare quotations and holiday package proposals.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets while maintaining high service standards.
Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in reservation, ticketing, and holiday package sales within a travel agency or airline environment.
  • Proven experience handling both domestic and international travel bookings.
  • Experience in FIT, leisure travel, and corporate travel is an advantage.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in at least one Global Distribution System (GDS):
  • Amadeus
  • Sabre
  • Travelport Galileo
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Flight reservations and ticket issuance.
  • Fare construction and pricing.
  • Airline ticketing procedures and regulations, including ticket issuance, reissues, exchanges, refunds, voids, fare rules, pricing, and airline ticketing regulations.
  • Holiday package planning and itinerary creation.
  • Airline fare rules, taxes, baggage policies, visa requirements, and travel regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and online travel reservation platforms.
