<p><strong>About Joud Coffee</strong><br> Joud Coffee is a home-grown specialty brand from Abu Dhabi (est. 2015) with flagship cafés and coffee shops across the UAE. We’re building a high-performance, guest-obsessed café culture and are hiring a <strong>Restaurant Manager</strong> to lead one of our flagship locations.</p><p><strong>The role (why it exists)</strong><br> Own the café’s results end-to-end—people, product, service, and <strong>P&L</strong>. You’ll coach a winning team, deliver 5-star hospitality, and run a tight operation that hits target <strong>sales, COGS, labor, and EBITDA</strong>.</p><p><strong>What you’ll do</strong><br></p><ul> <li>Lead daily floor operations (FOH & BOH): pre-shift briefs, sectioning, table turns, speed of service, guest recovery.</li> <li><strong>P&L ownership:</strong> weekly flash reviews; track sales, COGS, labor; close gaps with action plans.</li> <li><strong>Budgeting & forecasting:</strong> build the annual outlet budget; monthly re-forecasts for sales, labor hours, and purchasing.</li> <li>Drive commercial KPIs: AOV, UPC/attach-rate, NPS/mystery shopper, waste %, stock variance, and staff productivity.</li> <li>Scheduling & labor planning to target % of sales; approve timesheets and optimize coverage.</li> <li>Inventory & cost control: ordering, par levels, cycle counts, waste logs; work with CPU/roastery for accuracy and freshness.</li> <li>People leadership: hire, onboard, train, and performance-manage to clear KPIs; run coaching plans and recognition.</li> <li>Standards & safety: HACCP/food safety, cleanliness, maintenance tickets, opening/closing & cash controls.</li> <li>Marketing & guest growth: execute LTOs, collabs, and local store marketing with the Marketing team; own community relationships.</li> <li>Reporting & tools: keep dashboards and logs up to date (POS/inventory/ERP), submit weekly performance summaries with actions.</li> </ul><p><strong>KPIs you’ll own</strong><br> Sales growth • Outlet EBITDA • COGS % • Labor % • AOV • Attach-rate/UPC • NPS / Mystery Shopper • Waste % • Stock variance • Training completion • Audit score • Team turnover & attendance</p><p><strong>What you’ll need (must-haves)</strong></p><ul> <li><strong></strong>3–5+ years as Restaurant/Café Manager or strong Assistant Manager in a high-volume, full-service café/restaurant.</li> <li><strong>Proven P&L ownership</strong> and <strong>hands-on budgeting & forecasting</strong> experience.</li> <li>Strong people leadership: hiring, coaching, scheduling, and performance management.</li> <li>Solid grasp of inventory, purchasing, and cost control; confident with spreadsheets/dashboards.</li> <li>Guest-first mindset with excellent communication; calm under pressure and solutions-oriented.</li> <li>Availability for shifts, weekends, and holidays; right to work in the UAE.</li> </ul><p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p><ul> <li>Specialty coffee knowledge and barista training.</li> <li>Experience with POS/inventory/ERP systems (e.g., Foodics, Supy, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) and LMS (e.g., Wisetail).</li> <li>Pre-opening or multi-site experience; Arabic & English bilingual.</li> </ul><p><strong>What we offer</strong><br> Competitive salary + performance bonus, healthcare, duty meals & discounts, growth pathway across a scaling brand, and structured training with clear KPIs and accountability.</p><p><strong>Location & schedule</strong><br>One of our Abu Dhabi or Dubai (flagship cafés).
