Restaurant Reservations Agent (Seasonal 6 Months Contract)

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done.  Anantara team members always find new ways to look after the business their guests and their team members.   Within this the key responsibilities for this position are:

Planning and Organising

  • Ensure that all Anantara Restaurant Reservations Standards are being adhered to.
  • Ensure that F&B revenue targets are met at all times by understanding each outlet operational needs.

Operations

  • Answering all calls regarding restaurant reservations outlet promotions and events.
  • Take reservations cancellation and special requests by filling it up in the reservation system
  • Handles inquiries about all Food and Beverage outlets concerning location menus operating hours prices entertainment etc.
  • Gives information on all the on-going F&B events as well as other events that are taking place in the hotel.
  • Sells the F&B outlets through the phone to all the calling guests.
  • Updates chefs on special requests such as birthday cake/diet requirements etc.
  • Takes care of the special requests of the guests like arranging flowers or balloons etc
  • Collects outlet guest survey cards and outlets collected business card.
  • Takes and fills up outlet event forms for group reservations.
  • Booking management: e.g. Hours overbooking etc.
  • Supplies and keeps outlets updated on a daily basis with all reservations received.
  • Participates in functions and activities with other outlets when required.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned by the superior.
