This position reports to: Sales Manager __ Your role and responsibilities As a Sales Specialist– EPC channel, you will be leading the Country Sales for Construction and Infra-structure segment in driving revenue, developing, and implementing effective strategic plans, increasing market share, building & maintaining relationships with a focused drive towards business profitability. This role is based at Dubai, UAE. Reporting to the Head of EPC Channel Sales, you will be building & maintaining good working relationships with extended stakeholders to identify and work on sales opportunities and in driving them to closure. The work model for the role is: {hybrid} This role is contributing to the MV products and systems within a designated market of the UAE for Electrification Solutions, Distribution Solutions. You will be mainly accountable for: Creating, implementing, and reviewing sales support strategy ensuring high say-do and high hit-rate to deliver on plan. Driving the EPC sales strategy in collaboration with Business Line team. & Understanding the key business drivers of the relevant customer’s business and business environment and interprets the impact and opportunity for ABB. Identifying and mapping out potential key players/decision makers and plans to participate, working closely with EPCs and End users for MV Products and Solutions. Monitoring competitor’s activity within the segment and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented. Manage costs on an ongoing basis, ensuring achievement of sales volume and product mix targets, setting appropriate pricing and margin for sales, as well as participating in key contract negotiations. Identify and manage potential risks related to contracted contracts between customers/channels, monitor the customer's financial status and report any changes regarding risk to relevant internal teams. Ensure effective marketing communications and customer relationship building, supporting the development of strong relationships with key customers and key decision makers. Following business governance & control guidelines and taking lead for seeking approval of large bids as per defined procedure. Qualifications for the role 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in EPC channel sales within the Construction and Infra-structure Industry with at least 5 years of front- end sales experience Bachelor’s degree is required. Fields of study in Electrical Engineering, MBA is a plus Knowledge of commercial and legal terms and project risk management A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills Strong influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills with an entrepreneurial mindset. You must have a good understanding of the market segment’s demand, customer’s budgeting processes and purchasing behaviors Solid background of Distribution automation and digitalization Advanced proficiency in English is required, Arabic is a plus What's in it for you?
