SAP Delivery Manager

Role & responsibilities - Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP implementation, transformation, migration, rollout, and support programs. - Own delivery scope, timelines, budgets, resources, quality, risks, and overall program performance. - Manage multiple SAP workstreams and coordinate functional, technical, integration, data, testing, and infrastructure teams. - Develop delivery roadmaps, project plans, milestones, governance structures, and resource strategies. - Lead SAP S/4HANA transformation and ERP modernization initiatives across business functions. - Establish and maintain delivery governance, PMO processes, KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, and reporting mechanisms. - Manage relationships with clients, business stakeholders, SAP teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors. - Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations. - Ensure SAP solutions are delivered in accordance with business requirements, architecture standards, security policies, and SAP best practices. - Oversee SAP integration, data migration, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live activities. - Drive Agile/Scrum, SAP Activate, or hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate. - Manage vendor performance, contracts, deliverables, and service-level commitments. - Provide executive-level status reporting, financial updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations. - Lead continuous-improvement initiatives to improve delivery efficiency, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction. - Build, mentor, and manage high-performing SAP delivery teams across multiple locations. - Support business development, solution estimation, proposal preparation, and client presentations when required. Preferred candidate profile - 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP/ERP delivery, project management, program management, or consulting, with demonstrated ownership of complex SAP engagements. - Strong experience managing SAP implementation, S/4HANA transformation, migration, rollout, upgrade, or managed-services programs. - Good understanding of major SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM/SuccessFactors, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. - Strong knowledge of SAP Activate, SAP implementation methodology, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, SDLC, and PMO governance. - Experience managing scope, budgets, timelines, resources, risks, dependencies, quality, and delivery KPIs. - Strong stakeholder and client-management skills, including experience communicating with C-level executives and senior business leadership. - Proven experience managing SAP functional, technical, integration, data, testing, and infrastructure teams. - Experience with SAP integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, release management, and go-live planning. - Strong vendor and system-integrator management experience, including contract and SLA management. - Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. - Experience working with large enterprise or multinational organizations and geographically distributed teams is highly desirable. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. - PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM/PSM, or equivalent project/program-management certification is preferred. - Relevant SAP certification, particularly SAP S/4HANA, is an advantage. - MBA or Masters degree in Business, IT, or Technology Management is desirable but not mandatory. - UAE/GCC experience and familiarity with regional enterprise delivery environments would be an added advantage.
