Senior Accountant – ACCA / CMA / CA (Part Qualified or Qualified)
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in bookkeeping, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations and accounting controls.
This position is intended for candidates with professional accounting qualifications or strong progress toward ACCA, CMA or CA. Candidates with only basic/general accounting exposure may not be suitable for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete bookkeeping and general ledger accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Handle bank, customer, supplier and ledger reconciliations
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports
- Perform month-end and year-end closing
- Maintain fixed assets, accruals, prepayments and journal entries
- Support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Handle tax-related documentation and compliance
- Review accounting records and identify discrepancies
- Coordinate with auditors and management
- Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls
Required Qualification:
ACCA / CMA / CA – Qualified or Part Qualified preferred
Candidates with B.Com/M.Com may only be considered if they have strong senior-level practical accounting experience.
Required Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a Senior Accountant/Accounts Executive role.
Required Skills:
Advanced bookkeeping, General Ledger, financial statements, reconciliation, taxation, MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
Preferred Candidate:
A candidate who can independently manage the full accounting cycle with minimal supervision.
Important: Fresh graduates and candidates with only basic accounting/data-entry experience are not suitable for this senior-level position.
Pay: From Rs50,000.00 per month
