Senior Business Consultant - Technical Lead (Student)

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership, training, and consulting for Professional Services in the Student module area
  • Perform deep-dive analyses to resolve Student-related issues such as repeats, advising trees, and ARCs
  • Provide coaching and technical training in data validation, reporting, and data flow
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to execute assigned projects and develop customization estimates
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and analytics to enhance decision-making and efficiency
  • Maintain and share a repository of process and training documentation
  • Translate complex technical concepts to functional end users

Requirements

  • BS, BA Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience, with at least 4 years in Higher Education
  • Experience with Jenzabar's J1 Student Information System/ERP
  • Advanced SQL programming skills
  • Experience with Admissions, Registrar, Advising, and Student Life modules
  • Strong software troubleshooting and database tool skills
  • Proven experience in conducting presentations and training (classroom or online)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
