<strong>Job Purpose<br><br></strong>Join the Emirates Group Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACoE) and help shape the future of data science, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics across one of the world's leading aviation and travel organisations.<br><br>As a <strong>Senior Data Scientist/ Senior AI Engineer,</strong> you will lead the design and delivery of innovative machine learning, optimisation and AI solutions for business that influence strategic decisions, improve operational performance and create exceptional customer experiences. You will work on complex challenges at scale while mentoring others and driving the adoption of AI and advanced analytics across the organisation.<br><br><strong>In This Role, You Will<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead end-to-end AI initiatives from problem definition through to deployment and value realisation.</li><li>Partner with business leaders to transform strategic challenges into scalable AI and analytics solutions.</li><li>Design and implement advanced machine learning, optimisation and simulation models.</li><li>Develop AI-powered capabilities leveraging GenAI, LLMs and Agentic AI technologies.</li><li>Drive experimentation, model validation and performance measurement to ensure business impact and automate business decisions. </li><li>Lead the development of reusable data science frameworks, libraries and production-ready solutions.</li><li>Collaborate closely with engineering teams to operationalise machine learning and AI products.</li><li>Mentor and coach junior data scientists while helping shape best practices across the wider analytics community.</li><li>Champion innovation and identify emerging technologies that can create competitive advantage.<br><br></li></ul>Qualification<br><br><strong>To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:<br><br></strong><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>MSc or PhD in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>4-7+ years of experience delivering advanced analytics, machine learning, optimisation or AI solutions in large, complex organisations.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Knowledge & Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Expert knowledge of machine learning, statistical modelling and advanced analytics.</li><li>Strong experience with GenAI, LLMs, Agentic AI and emerging AI technologies.</li><li>Hands-on AI Engineering experience including model deployment, Agentic orchestration frameworks, evaluation frameworks, observability and monitoring, RAG architectures and scalable AI application development.</li><li>Experience with optimisation frameworks such as Gurobi, FICO or CPLEX.</li><li>Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.</li><li>Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices.</li><li>Proven experience deploying production-grade analytics and AI solutions.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.</li><li>Experience mentoring and developing technical talent.</li><li>A commercial mindset focused on delivering measurable business value through AI and analytics. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience building and deploying AI applications using LLM orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel or equivalent).</li><li>Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, AI agents and multi-agent systems.</li><li>Experience evaluating, monitoring and governing production AI systems.</li><li>Understanding of cloud-native AI platforms and modern AI engineering best practices.<br><br></li></ul>Salary & benefits<br><br>Join us in Dubai and enjoy an attractive tax-free salary alongside exceptional travel, healthcare and lifestyle benefits.
