Senior Director, Business Development (M&A)
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of Business Development transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments, partnerships, and licensing opportunities
- Independently manage transaction phases: strategy analysis, target screening, structuring, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing
- Lead strategy and transaction conversations with business and functional leadership
- Perform gap analysis to business unit portfolios and define tactical steps for accelerated growth
- Manage communication and alignment with internal stakeholders for transaction approval
- Mentor and develop junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Life Sciences or Medicine
- Minimum eight years of experience, with at least six years in M&A, licensing, divestitures, or joint ventures
- Proven experience leading all elements of the transaction process
- Demonstrated expertise in the medtech industry
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influence skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and resolve complex situations in a matrix organization
