Senior Oracle Fusion Financial Functional Consultant

Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Fusion Financial Functional Consultant to lead the enhancement, support, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Financials across enterprise-wide ERP applications. The role requires strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, finance business processes, stakeholder management, financial governance, and digital transformation initiatives. The consultant will work closely with Finance leadership, business users, IT teams, project managers, and implementation partners to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant Oracle Fusion Financial solutions aligned with organizational objectives, statutory requirements, and financial governance policies. Key Responsibilities - Functional Leadership Lead end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle Fusion Financial modules including: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets (FA) Cash Management (CM) Expenses Tax Intercompany Budgetary Control Financial Reporting Center Subledger Accounting (SLA) - Conduct finance business process assessments and recommend Oracle best-practice solutions. - Facilitate business workshops, requirement gathering sessions, fit-gap analysis, and solution design discussions. - Prepare and review BRDs, FRDs, Functional Design Documents (FDDs), configuration documents, process flows, and test scenarios. - Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to improve financial controls, automation, and operational efficiency. - Solution Design & Configuration Configure Oracle Fusion Financial modules based on business and statutory requirements. - Configure enterprise structures including Ledgers, Business Units, Legal Entities, Chart of Accounts, Accounting Calendars, and Accounting Methods. - Configure journal sources, journal categories, approval rules, payment terms, payment methods, invoice processing options, receivables configurations, tax rules, and SLA accounting rules. - Design financial approval workflows and security configurations. - Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, OTBI reports, BI Publisher reports, interfaces, and data migration activities. - Review solution design to ensure adherence to Oracle best practices and organizational standards. - Environment Management Configure Oracle Fusion Financial modules for approved business requirements. - Validate functional configurations before migration. - Support technical development teams during customization and extension development. - Prepare and execute unit test scenarios. - Review configuration migration packages. - Coordinate with technical consultants during development activities. - Lead and support System Integration Testing (SIT). - Execute regression testing for enhancements and Oracle quarterly updates. - Validate integrations with Procurement, HCM, Banking, and external systems. - Verify migrated configurations and master data. - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) preparation. - Ensure business scenarios are fully validated before production deployment. - Provide L2/L3 functional support for Oracle Fusion Financials. - Resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs. - Perform impact assessments for change requests. - Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities. - Coordinate production deployments and post-deployment validation. - Support audit activities, compliance reviews, and financial reconciliations. - Monitor application stability and proactively identify improvement opportunities. - Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production readiness activities. - Prepare test scenarios and test scripts aligned with finance business processes. - Support cutover planning, deployment validation, data reconciliation, and hypercare activities. - Ensure successful deployment with minimal business disruption. - Coordinate Oracle quarterly release validation and impact assessment. - Stakeholder & Governance Management Engage with CFO Office, Finance Controllers, Business Process Owners, Internal Audit, PMO, Technical Teams, and Executive Stakeholders. - Participate in Steering Committee meetings and provide project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans. - Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, financial policies, and regulatory standards. - Support governance initiatives for ERP enhancements and production support. - Support & Continuous Improvement Provide functional production support for Oracle Fusion Financials. - Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. - Raise and manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) where required.
