Senior Platform Consultant (part time)

Morningstar is a leading global provider of independent investment insights, serving both individual and institutional investors across public and private markets.

You will work with new clients, gaining an in depth understanding of their business and requirements to ensure the embedding of the Morningstar Wealth offerings i.e. Platform, MIME and Investments, and provide the maximum leverage of adoption and business flows to the point it can be described as business as usual.

This role is offered on a part-time basis (24 hours per week, 60% FTE) for a fixed term of 6 months. Working hours will be distributed across 5 days per week, with flexibility in scheduling. Salary and benefits will be prorated based on the full-time equivalent package.

Please note that only candidates currently based in Dubai will be considered.

What You’ll Do:

  • Training adviser firms and model managers either face to face or remotely.

  • Working in conjunction with Business Development Managers and Business Development Consultants to identify new advisers, model managers, sales opportunities and provide demonstrations both remotely and in person.

  • Arrange & attend follow up meetings with firms and model managers either face to face or remotely.

  • Setting up new branded platform services for firms.

  • Updating, tracking, and ensuring Corporate CRM and Salesforce are complete for all new firm implementations, meetings, phone calls and events.

  • Working with our Implementation Technical team to trouble shoot issues.

  • Managing the hand over process of newly implemented firms to Adviser Support.

  • Project Managing back books of client assets onto the platform using novation, change of agency or transition processes.

  • Communicating changes for new Technology releases in a timely manner to all adviser firms.

  • Involvement in User Acceptance Testing of platform developments when required e.g. system and product updates.

  • Attending regular internal Distribution meetings to share feedback and provide training to the wider Distribution Team.

  • Assist with new asset requests and ensure set up and access within agreed SLAs.

  • Obtaining feedback from firms on success of e.g. implementations, new features, events.

  • Providing input and feedback to all internal customers to further enhance systems, products, and service.

  • Working with the development team to bring new functionality into the software.

  • Creating and updating bespoke Resource Centre articles and user guides via Zendesk.

  • Creating and updating videos of ‘how to’ functionality.

  • Keeping accurate records of correspondence with clients in CRM and SharePoint sites.

  • Maintain accurate Trellis records and understand processes relating to raising incidents and our Complaints handling processes.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years' experience in Financial Services role – preferably in a client facing advisory or investment environment

  • Clear understanding of the operational requirements of an adviser firm business

  • Excellent knowledge of tax wrappers

  • Excellent relationship management skills

  • Excellent Project Management skills

  • Hold or be willing to study towards a professional qualification

  • Ability to provide an excellent level of service either face to face or remotely

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • IT literate, understand technical aspects of role

  • Attention to detail

  • Team player

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to travel when required

Base Salary Compensation Range

AED 278,222.00-389,036.66

Commission Target:

25% Annual

This role offers a commission target which may vary by up to ±15% depending on final plan design and business factors.

We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
