Social E-commerce Product Hunter & Sourcing Specialist | Project-Based | Dubai

We are building a new social-sales network for consumer products in the UAE and looking for someone who can find promising products, identify the right retailers, e-commerce sellers, importers, distributors or suppliers behind them, and contact those businesses at scale to open commercial conversations.

You need to be excellent at spotting great products with weak marketing or underdeveloped social-selling potential.

You should understand what women in the UAE are buying online, what price points work, what is gaining attention across social media and e-commerce, and where good products may still be underexposed or poorly sold.

Potential areas include beauty, skincare, modest fashion, Islamic lifestyle products, gifts, accessories and other women’s lifestyle products. We are particularly interested in products that can be demonstrated, compared, styled or shown solving a clear problem through short-form video and Live selling. We are also open to new categories, bundles, kits and product combinations built around a clear customer need or use case.

What you need to be good at:

  • Product discovery: finding interesting products, categories and bundles with strong social-selling and video-demonstration potential
  • UAE market awareness: understanding what women buy online, relevant price points, trends, competition and what is already oversaturated
  • Commercial judgment: checking prices, reviews, product quality, stock, sourcing options and whether an opportunity makes economic sense
  • Business discovery: finding the retailers, e-commerce sellers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers or suppliers behind relevant products
  • Outreach: finding usable contacts, building qualified prospect lists, sending approved outreach at scale and following up
  • Execution: keeping products, contacts, outreach and responses organized and supporting recommendations with real evidence
We are not looking for generic AI-generated product lists or random mass outreach. AI can assist the work, but the value comes from good product judgment, real market research and the ability to turn that research into actual business conversations.

Big advantages:

  • Existing relationships with UAE retailers, e-commerce sellers, importers, distributors or wholesalers
  • Experience in e-commerce, buying, sourcing, merchandising, supplier sales or business development
  • Experience negotiating supplier pricing or MOQ
  • Access to clearance, excess or slow-moving inventory
Paid test and project work

Shortlisted applicants start with a AED 150–200 paid test, covering approximately 5 product opportunities and outreach to around 50 relevant UAE product businesses. We are looking for quality and not random outreach.

Strong candidates can move into additional projects and repeat assignments covering product discovery, sourcing, prospecting, outreach and partner acquisition. Additional bonuses may be offered for particularly strong commercial opportunities or supplier relationships.

This is a mostly work-from-home, project-based role. No visa sponsorship is provided. Applicants must already be UAE residents and be eligible to work under an appropriate work permit, work-card or freelance arrangement.

To apply, send:

  • Your CV or a short summary of your background
  • Relevant experience in e-commerce, product discovery, buying, sourcing, retail, wholesale, supplier sales, outreach or business development
  • Examples of products, suppliers or businesses you have sourced or approached, if available
  • Whether you already have UAE or overseas supplier/business contacts
  • Your availability
