ABOUT UNIVEERA

Univeera is a MENA-focused educational platform helping high school students get into university. We help students search universities, find scholarships, get essay support, book sessions with admissions advisors, and connect with 100 student ambassadors at top universities worldwide. We work with 150 partner schools across 8 countries.

THE ROLE

You'll own Univeera's social media day to day — Instagram and TikTok first. This isn't a "schedule three posts a week" role. You'll find the ideas, write the scripts, get the videos shot, post them, talk to creators in the education space, and show up at events. You'll work directly with the founder with a lot of room to run.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Content & Posting

  • Run Instagram and TikTok: plan the calendar, post daily, manage comments and DMs
  • Find trends and formats from education/student-life creators and adapt them for our audience
  • Write short-form video scripts (hooks, talking points, captions)
  • Coordinate filming: book people, set up shoots, brief talent, manage shot lists
  • Edit or brief edits for Reels/TikToks (CapCut, Premiere, similar)
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI) to produce posts, carousels, and captions fast
Community & Partnerships
  • Reach out to influencers, student creators, and education pages across GCC/MENA for collaborations and co-created content
  • Maintain a tracker of creators, pitches, and outcomes
  • Engage with students, parents, and schools in comments/DMs (Arabic and English)
Events & Activations
  • Identify school fairs, university expos, and education conferences in UAE and the Gulf
  • Attend events, capture content, turn it into posts
Measurement
  • Track reach, follower growth, engagement, saves, shares, and link clicks weekly
  • Report what's working, kill what isn't, propose what's next

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Active presence on Instagram and TikTok with awareness of trending student/study/university content
  • Prior experience running an account (personal, club, brand, or otherwise) with demonstrable growth or content
  • Strong written English; strong Arabic (written and spoken) is a big plus
  • Hands-on with CapCut/Reels editing, Canva, and AI content tools
  • Organised — able to manage a content calendar, shoot schedule, and outreach tracker independently
  • Student or recent graduate with an understanding of the GCC high school to university journey
  • Based in Dubai

NICE TO HAVE

  • Influencer outreach or partnership experience
  • Basic design sense (typography, layout) for static posts
  • Experience with scheduling/analytics tools (Later, Metricool, Buffer, etc.)
  • We welcome applications from candidates based in Dubai who hold nationality from Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, or Palestine.

WHAT YOU GET

  • Direct exposure to a founder building an EdTech company across MENA
  • Real ownership of two channels from day one
  • Flexible hours, remote-friendly setup
  • Strong path to a full-time role as the team grows

Univeera is committed to gender diversity in our team, and female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
