Specialist - Compliance Monitoring Auditor

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To ensure compliance with regulations set by the GCAA, IATA ISARPs, and any additional flydubai-defined requirements, perform audits in flight operations, ground operations, line maintenance, crew training, as well as safety and security within specified timeframes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts reviews of flydubai manual and procedural changes ensuring compliance verification and recommend improvements to operational standards.
  • Conducts audits, inspections, observations and surveillance in accordance with the approved compliance monitoring programme to identify findings, risks, and compliance gaps.
  • Escalates all non-conformities in all areas of operation and ensures appropriate corrective, preventative and verification actions are taken.
  • Verifies the adequacy of corrective, preventative actions in all areas of operation and reviews the root cause of issues to ensure that they are resolved.
  • Supports investigations in the areas of flight operations, ground operations, line maintenance, crew training as well as safety & security and training as a subject matter expert in areas of compliance.
  • Updates and improves the Department Manual and Audit Checklists on an ongoing basis to ensure alignment with operational requirements and compliance monitoring activities.
  • Provides on-the-job training for New Joiners to ensure correct application of department procedures, audit practices, and compliance monitoring requirements.
  • Reviews, analyses and presents findings and concerns to relevant personnel or product and service provider representatives and supports corrective action planning and follow-up.
  • Monitor and assess regulatory, industry, and operational publications to determine their impact and applicability to flydubai requirements and compliance obligations.
  • Supports third-party inspections of flydubai by preparing required evidence, responding to compliance-related queries, and following up on inspection findings or actions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years)
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of audit management tools.
  • Years with qualifications: 7 - 9 years
  • Certified training in audit and applicable regulations.

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
