Job Description:

  • Act as a consultant to veterinary practice stakeholders and build tailored in-house diagnostic solutions using Vetscan products
  • Sell Vetscan instruments to veterinary practices, research centers, and government institutions within the territory
  • Collaborate with territory managers, diagnostic account managers, and strategic account managers to generate leads and secure new business
  • Deliver a seamless and professional pre-sale and sales experience
  • Use strategic thinking and market trend analysis to increase diagnostic equipment sales in high-revenue accounts
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through closing
  • Acquire and retain customers, increase Vetscan analyzer placements, and drive consumable use
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline from prospect to customer and ensure efficient lead conversion
  • Negotiate and tailor commercial agreements to customer needs
  • Maintain expertise in products, services, pricing, competition, and market trends
  • Develop long-term partnerships with key customers
  • Renew and amend existing Zoetis Diagnostics contracts
  • Conduct periodic business reviews and identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate across Diagnostics and other business units, including companion animal, livestock, technical support, and veterinary services
  • Process new contracts and ensure timely, accurate customer onboarding and compliance

Requirements:

  • Baccalauréat requis / Bachelor’s Degree required; scientific or business discipline strongly preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in a related field
  • Sales background mandatory
  • Experience in B2B sales in a corporate environment, diagnostics, marketing, medical devices, capital equipment sales, or contractual sales required
  • Veterinary, nursing, laboratory and/or medical background preferred
  • Action-oriented, strategic and growth mindset, with passion for excellence
  • Excellent presentation and conversational skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Solid business acumen and financial analysis skills, including efficient expense and budget management
  • Strong medical understanding
  • Ability to work well under short deadlines to meet targets
  • Bilingualism in French and English
  • Strong command of English for communication with Canadian clients and colleagues outside Quebec
  • Ability to produce high-quality professional documents and presentations in English
