Specialty Coffee Barista

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialty Coffee Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in specialty coffee preparation, a strong understanding of Nordic-style coffee culture, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages and manual brews.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of specialty coffee, including origins, roast profiles, and brewing techniques.
  • Operate and maintain espresso machines and coffee grinders.
  • Ensure consistency in coffee quality and presentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests professionally.
  • Monitor coffee bean freshness and maintain inventory.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the coffee bar.
  • Support daily café operations and collaborate with the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Specialty Coffee Barista.
  • Experience working in a specialty coffee shop or Nordic-style café is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art, and manual brewing methods (V60, Chemex, Kalita, AeroPress, etc.).
  • Familiarity with coffee bean origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Currently residing in Qatar or willing to relocate.
  • Immediate joiners are preferred.
