Sr. Associate, ServiceNow Functional

Job summary: To provide functional support, configuration assistance, and user support for TAQA Distribution's ServiceNow system, contributing to the reliable operation and continuous improvement of IT service management and business workflow automation capabilities. The Sr. Associate, ServiceNow Functional works under the direction of the Manager, Platforms (Enterprise Solutions) to ensure the system is correctly configured, user issues are resolved promptly, and functional documentation is maintained to a high standard. General Responsibilities: - Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems - Ensure the compliance of organization’s policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls in line with group delegation of authority policy so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner. - Reporting - Ensure that all reports are completed timely and comply with the business policies and standards. - Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the business senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making. - Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner. Job Specific Responsibilities: - Provide functional support, administration, and configuration assistance for TAQA's ServiceNow platform, ensuring the system is correctly configured and supporting TAQA's ITSM and business workflow requirements. - Support ServiceNow module configuration activities including incident, problem, change, and service request management configuration, catalogue item development, and workflow automation updates. - Assist in the development and maintenance of ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and automation flows that support TAQA's operational processes. - Maintain ServiceNow functional documentation and platform configuration records. - Support ServiceNow platform upgrades, patch deployments, and new module implementations. - Coordinate with IT service management and business teams to understand requirements and implement approved configuration changes. - Apply AI-powered ServiceNow features (Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence) to improve service request handling efficiency.
