Sr. Specialist Finance Systems

About the opportunity

We are looking for a Sr. Specialist Finance Systems with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). The consultant will lead finance module implementations, drive process optimization, and act as the primary bridge between finance stakeholders and the technical delivery team.

What's On Your Plate?

  • Implementation & solution design

    • Lead end-to-end implementation of D365 F&O finance modules — GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, and Budgeting.

    • Design and configure finance solutions supporting multi-entity, multi-currency global operations and high-volume transaction processing.

    • Conduct business process workshops, gather and validate requirements, and produce Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs).

    • Document business workflows and SOPs based on best practices and ensure accurate implementation within D365 F&O.

  • Collaboration & delivery

    • Collaborate with the D365 implementation partner to support system configuration, rollout, and integration with other business systems.

    • Work with technical teams to define and validate customizations, integrations, and data migration requirements, providing functional sign-off.

    • Identify and drive process optimization and automation opportunities using standard D365 features and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI).

    • Act as the primary point of escalation for critical functional issues, coordinating timely resolution with the implementation partner and Microsoft support

  • Testing, training & go-live

    • Plan and manage UAT cycles — develop test scripts, facilitate user testing sessions, track defects, and document sign-off outcomes.

    • Develop accurate and effective end-user training materials and deliver training sessions tailored to the customer's finance team.

    • Provide go-live and hypercare support, resolve post-go-live issues, and ensure structured knowledge transfer to the customer's internal team

What you need to be successful

What Did We Order?

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, functional training, and technical support (Finance & Operations, Supply chain) within medium to large enterprises.

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310)

  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

  • Strong understanding of integration patterns using Azure Service Bus, Power Automate, and REST APIs

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences

  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and produce high‑quality documentation under tight timelines
