About the role

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager, AI to shape how Hostaway uses AI across our product.

This role is for someone who is excited about AI, understands how modern AI products are built, and has the platform mindset to define the foundations other teams will build on. You do not need to be a data scientist or ML engineer, but you should be comfortable with concepts like LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, tool calling, agents, model tradeoffs, and AI evaluation.

You will help Hostaway turn AI ideas into a scalable AI platform: reusable capabilities, tools, and standards that Product and Engineering teams can use to build customer-facing AI solutions faster and more reliably.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, customer-facing teams, and leadership to identify high-value AI opportunities, guide other PMs, and ensure AI features solve real customer problems. This role combines AI curiosity, strong product judgment, and platform thinking.

What you will do:

  • Define and own the roadmap for Hostaway’s AI platform foundations, including shared capabilities, tools, and standards that other teams can build on.

  • Run continuous discovery across technical and product stakeholders to identify where AI can create meaningful customer and business value. investments will create the most leverage.

  • Guide & Influence other Product Managers on how to use AI effectively, helping them shape strong use cases and avoid low-value AI features.

  • Prioritize AI investments based on customer impact, internal team needs, technical feasibility, cost, reliability, and scalability.

  • Define how success, quality, and reliability are measured for AI-powered features and platform capabilities.

  • 7+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, platform, or complex workflow products, with a track record of shipping AI products to production, and of evolving them as the underlying capabilities changed under you.

  • Deep fluency in agentic products: you understand how agents reason, act, and fail, and you have strong instincts for context engineering: deciding what information, tools, and structure an agent needs to perform reliably, whatever the underlying models look like next year.

  • Exceptional product sense for non-deterministic systems: you can define what "good" looks like when outputs vary, set quality bars, and make ship decisions on judgment plus evidence rather than certainty.

  • Deep instinct for trust and autonomy: you understand how to expand what an agent does on a user's behalf without breaking their confidence. Permissioning, transparency, and failure recovery are product decisions you own.

  • You operate at the frontier by default: you work AI-natively yourself, track capability shifts as they happen, form your own view of what's real versus hype, and bring GTM and the org along each time the product's ceiling lifts.

What success looks like:

  • AI-powered features are seamlessly embedded into Hostaway’s SaaS product.

  • Customer workflows feel smarter, faster, and more personalized thanks to the integrations you build with the team.

  • AI services are stable, observable, and easy to maintain.

  • You become the go-to person for the Hostaway AI product vision and capabilities across the company.

What we offer:

  • Competitive Compensation: We offer competitive pay based on market rates in the country of the applicant.

  • 100% Remote: Enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere within your country of residence—be it a co-working space, your home office, or even your dining room table. The choice is yours. Just don’t ask to work in our office (we don’t have one).

  • Equity: Every role in our company comes with valuable stock options in a fast-growing and profitable company. This ensures we all share in the company’s success.

  • Values-Driven Leadership: Our Core Values are not just words we’ve written to make us feel good. We leverage them daily when making strategic and tactical decisions.

  • Professional Growth: Our rapid growth offers unparalleled learning and development opportunities, along with a multitude of career advancement opportunities.

  • Annual Paid Leave: The specific amounts vary by country and are aligned with country and/or contract-specific norms.

  • Geographic Specific Benefits: As an international employer, we offer different country-specific benefits such as Health Insurance and Pensions in countries where these perks are customary. The specifics depend on the country of the applicant.

  • Dynamic Team Culture: As a global company with team members in over 40 countries, our diverse and international culture fuels our innovation and creativity, providing a key pillar to our success (and making it a lot of fun to work here).
