Store Manager – Materials & Equipment

A well-established Dubai-based trading and contracting company is looking for an experienced Store Manager – Materials & Equipment to take full ownership of its store, warehouse, inventory, and equipment management operations. This is a senior-level position for a hands-on professional with strong experience managing construction materials, tools, machinery, equipment, consumables, spare parts, and trading inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on inventory accuracy, ERP discipline, asset accountability, loss prevention, team management, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Take full responsibility for store and warehouse operations. - Manage construction materials, tools, machinery, equipment, consumables, spare parts, and trading inventory. - Maintain 98–100% inventory accuracy between physical stock and ERP records. - Manage receiving, inspection, GRNs, storage, issuance, transfers, and returns. - Ensure complete traceability and accountability of company equipment and assets. - Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual physical stock counts. - Monitor and control slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, and excess inventory. - Establish and maintain minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels. - Coordinate closely with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Operations, and Project Teams. - Lead, supervise, and develop storekeepers and supporting store personnel. - Ensure strict documentation and ERP compliance for all store transactions. - Implement effective controls to prevent unauthorized issuance, loss, misuse, and inventory discrepancies. - Prepare accurate inventory, equipment, utilization, and stock-control reports for senior management. - Continuously improve store layout, processes, controls, and operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements: - 8–10+ years of relevant experience in stores, warehousing, inventory, materials management, or related functions. - 3–5+ years of experience in a managerial or senior supervisory position. - Strong hands-on experience managing construction materials AND equipment. - Experience within construction, contracting, industrial, engineering, equipment, or trading companies is strongly preferred. - Strong knowledge of ERP-based inventory and warehouse management systems. - Excellent understanding of LPOs, GRNs, Material Requests, stock transfers, returns, and stock reconciliation. - Strong knowledge of inventory control, asset tracking, and warehouse processes. - Excellent Microsoft Excel, reporting, and analytical skills. - UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred. - Strong leadership, integrity, discipline, organizational skills, and attention to detail. - Candidates who have managed both materials and equipment stores will be strongly preferred.
