Sub regional sales Lead RS1 (Sales Distributed)

A Snapshot of Your Day The Head of Sales, RS1 owns full commercial leadership for the RS1 territory, accountable for order intake, and Gross margin in OE performance across UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Libya and Kuwait. The role is the primary driver of the SD strategic shift from reactive order-taking to proactive solution bundling and value-selling, building direct customer proximity with strategic accounts and ensuring disciplined, forecastable commercial execution across a structurally diverse and, in the case of Iraq, high-complexity territory. How You’ll Make An Impact Own the RS1 order intake and OE targets; hold country and account leads accountable to plan, with early-warning escalation on at-risk deals.

Drive the shift from transactional order-taking to proactive, bundled solution selling across the installed base.

Maintain pipeline and forecast discipline (CRM hygiene, slip register, must-win deal tracking) in line with SD reporting cadence.

Hold direct executive relationships with strategic accounts, notably ADNOC, GECOL, NOC affiliates in LY, EGPC, PETROBEL/Eni, and Iraq MoO / SOC affiliates.

Build and execute account development plans that translate customer roadmaps into a proactive bundled offering.

Represent RS1 in complex commercial and governance discussions, including country-level risk frameworks (e.g. Iraq, Libya).

Lead, develop, and performance-manage RS1 country and account teams, establishing a high-performing, commercially disciplined sales culture.

Ensure tender quality and RFQ compliance in partnership with Sales Operations organization and Sales Operations.

Coordinate cross-functionally with Modernization & Upgrades (M&U) and Program Business / Long-Term Projects (PB/LTP) to ensure integrated account coverage.

What You

Bring 10+ years of sales or commercial leadership experience in gas services, rotating equipment, or broader energy/industrial capital equipment.

Demonstrated ownership of order intake / P&L-type targets in Middle East or North Africa markets.

Direct experience navigating national oil company and government procurement structures (entities comparable to ADNOC, EGPC, MoO/SOC).

People’s leadership experience across geographically dispersed, multi-country teams.

Engineering background (mechanical, chemical, or related) strongly preferred.

Arabic and English fluency preferred given the Libya, Egypt and Iraq scope of the territory.
